it all ended where it started.

this melody was originally written as a joke, but the more we let the song build the more it felt essential.

while virginity is a social construct, it symbolized many things for me. it symbolized an end of my youth, and it made me look at a lot of relationships that i had prior to the one that i was in with a sense of insignificance. this was a marker of where i felt my innocence ended, and where my confusion and progression in the humanities began.
