this was one of the last tracks written for the tape. the young man Matt came through with the vocal melody for the hooks and Kiko made the rough idea for what the melody should be for the verses. this to me is the closest we'll ever get to making a slow burner.

my view of relationships is that you are essentially giving another person the opportunity to push you around at all times, but you trust your partner not to do that. this is where i felt ready to do that alone rather than rely on someone else to teach me humility.
